At the age of sixteen while he was still in school he was cast for the role of Blake Dean in the then still young Home and Away series. This was his first television role. He quit this role in 1993, but later returned several times to the show, the last time in 2005. Hill also portrayed Jason Moran, an underworld figure in the 2008 series Underbelly. He portrayed Dean Gallagher in the TV series Rescue: Special Ops and is now starring tin the TV series House Husbands. he now plays Hayden Ross with the Ross family
