Samuel Kanyon Doe (Born May 6, 1951) was the 22nd Governor of Liberia from 1987 to 1995. His Governorship was characterized by its strong support for the United States and President Reagan and also Doe's leading of the "Conservative Revolution" in the Republican Party of Liberia, before this was the last vestiges of what was called "Rockefeller Republicanism". Doe would also be the youngest Governor of Liberia.
