While not happy about it, she agrees to go along with Lashara's scheme to hide the fact that Kenshi is the Seikijin pilot that tried to kill her. The first instance of her having feelings for Kenshi is when she makes a new thread for his pendant, and the color she used was red, which symbolized love (much to her chagrin). Then when she is told by Dagmeyr to kill Kenshi, she is unable to do it, telling Lashara that Kenshi apologizes to her in his sleep.
