A blood-analyzer unit was a device that tested the blood of individuals. The USS Enterprise had at least two of these units in 2268. That year, while stranded on the planet Omega IV, Doctor Leonard McCoy asked for a second blood-analyzer unit. Lieutenant Nyota Uhura informed him it would arrive soon. (TOS: "The Omega Glory" )
