Shadow is one of the three contestants in the Witchwood Arena Waiting Area (along with Flick and an assassin). Shadow appears to be an experienced arena combatant, although not a very popular one, stating that he might not be the wealthiest or most famous arena combatant, but he, at least, is alive, which is more than can be said about most combatants. Shadow is friendly and wishes The Hero of Oakvale good luck in the Arena. He also gives the most useful advice to use in the Arena.
