Naga Hunters or Shadowslayers were gifted individuals that could intuitively face and defeat the Foul. These individuals were specialists in confronting, stalking, and defeating the Foul. Through their racial memory, the Akasha, the Naga were able to pass down techniques for fighting the Foul from generation to generation. Kuni Shugenja believed that these Naga grew a special gland to help protect them from the Taint, and gave them superior strength at the same time.
