Alyson Markell, is a computer artist and a 1983 alumna of VPA's painting program. Markell worked at Industrial Light for about ten years as a senior creature modeler. Films she has worked on include "Van Helsin," "Day After Tomorrow," "Peter Pan," "Hidalgo" and four "Harry Potter" movies. She also worked at EA creating 3D game models and illustrations. The games she worked on at EA include "NHL Hockey" and "F117 Night Storm" for the Sega Genesis.
