Furnost was a minor town in Alagaësia. It was located directly north of Tüdosten Lake. King Thedric secretly met with the dwarf Ivaldn here before the War of Iron. Furnost was one of the lands that Nasuada gave to King Orrin as part of their agreement. It has a curious similarity to Fornost, a town in Tolkien's legendarium.
