The Full Outer-Shell Safety Shield, or FOSSS, was designed by Henry Foss. It is a personal defensive shield that one can wear on one's upper body. It weighs 3 pounds total which is lighter than kevlar. Magnus used it to survive the destruction of the Old City Sanctuary.
