Scarn was a Mandalorian mercenary hired by the Qreph brothers to scam Omad Kaeg of his shares from the mining cooperative that he was involved with in the Chiloon Rift. He and his affiliate, Jakal, along with their shadowing Nargon, Qizak, confronted Kaeg about the marker he owed in the sabacc game they scammed him in the Red Ronto aboard Brink Station just as Kaeg was meeting with Han and Leia Organa Solo. The Solos called Scarn out on his scam, which resulted in a deadly confrontation that saw to the mercenary's death, with his contract with the Qrephs unfulfilled.
