BAE Systems Customer Solutions & Support (CS&S) provided through-life support and upgrades for defence forces. The RAF Tornado GR4 upgrade is an example of the work that was undertaken by the CS&S division. A major part of the division's business was the Al Yamamah contracts with Saudi Arabia. In 2005, following the completion of the acquisition of United Defense, BAE Systems launched a reorganisation of its U.S. businesses into three operating groups. One of these, Customer Solutions, is a direct equivalent to the UK CS&S division.
