Battlegroup Kilo is an active unit of UNSC Naval warfare units that was formed after the Human-Covenant War from the remains of the 15th and 19th Fleets. When it was first formed, it had only four ships in it, but by 2568 CE, it had been replenished to back to effective fighting capacity of fifteen. The Battlegroup was meant to be sort of a splinter fleet, occasionally attaching itself to other Battlegroups or UNSC Fleets. Kilo also saw action in the war between the Elites and the Brutes, which lasted for six years after the end of the Human-Covenant War, when Kilo dispatched three ships to assist in the Battle of Arkasis in 2557 CE.
