During the War of Ancients a few Highborne, disagreeing in what the Burning Legion was doing, wanted to empower a weapon and give it to the night elves that were forming the resistance. They enchanted the blade with the same powers the demons had. The weapon was meant to be used against the Burning Legion. The Group of Highborne sent the weapon to the resistance led by Ravencrest... or that was their idea: it never reached the noble's hands. The weapon, named Shan'Xaxas (Honorable Fury) was lost and forgotten.
