The RG2570MZA features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with small black dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable zero-point system and a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The RG2550MZA and RG2570ZA which were introduced along with the RG2570MZA in 2015 are very similar models; the RG2550MZA simply adds a pickguard while the RG2570ZA has a rosewood fingerboard with white inlays.
