Planet Carinea is an earthlike planet located in the Omicron Alpha system. The planet is enshrouded by a large radioactive nebula that dominates the eastern area of the system. Initial investigations found Carinea was home to a large amount of alien organisms. However, upon closer inspection, it was discovered that every native lifeform possessed a toxin that was lethal to humans. Any sort of colonization effort was abandoned afterward.
