Northern Montana refers to the region of the U.S. state of Montana that roughly borders Alaska and includes population centers such as Montana City, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Cranbrook, Okotoks, Moose Jaw, Regina as well as towns such as Invermere, Radium and Assiniboine. Northern Montana contains nearly half of the state's population and is known for its agriculture, natural gas reserves, and large Russian-speaking population.
