The Shifting Darkness was the first season of the Empire Ascendant series and replaces the Great Hyperspace War in the Dark side's grand plan, the season was centered around the Great Sith Civil War and the battle for the rise of an entirely new Dark Lord of the Sith, the season started with the death of Naga Sadow by the hands of Ludo Kressh who also died a brief time afterwards due to the wounds inflicted during their Duel.
