As in previous years, a CD produced by Big Finish Productions was included on the front of issue 380. However unlike previous years this CD did not include a specially recorded audio story. Instead it contained previews for the first season of The New Eighth Doctor Adventures and interviews with Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, and Paul McGann. Much like the previous year's issue 368, DWM 384 was published with two separate covers, one featuring Derek Jacobi as with a heading "A Past Master" and another featuring John Simm as the Master with a heading "Lord and Master".
