This will start a quest. You must be outside of any player or NPC city to use this, and once you do, it will go away. Using the Com-link will call a shuttle that will lead you to your fist Collections and to the Mos Eisley Collector npc. Completing those missions series will make you understand the several Collectioning systems used in game. You will gain some nice rewards using the C-3PO Comlink such as the Rodian Collector Painting and The Jewelry Collection painting Since Game Update 10, it is flagged as a Shared No Trade item.
