During the winter, Jake and Rose are having their first date by building an old-fashioned snowman in Central Park, when Rose runs off to fetch wooden sticks for arms for the snowman they built, Jake uses his dragonfire to melt the snowman and turned it into an ice sculpture of Rose. When Rose returns, she is utterly impressed and they begin to share a kiss. However, when Jake reaches her lips, she is contacted by the Huntsman and apologizingly leaves the scene.
