Eric Dukat was the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic just before the beginning of the Great Sovereign Crusades. He resigned following the Dark Jedi attack on the Galactic Senate and the assassination of the Senate Vice-Chairman. He was replaced by Cos Jonathan Dashin.
