The EAS Schwarzkopf (hull letter J) was a Nova-class dreadnought under the command of General Richard Franklin. She stopped at Babylon 5 in 2259 before participating in Operation Sudden Death. When President Morgan Clark issued the order for Martial Law, she was sent to Io to intercept General William Hague's forces. During the battle the Schwarzkopf and the EAS Excalibur took direct hits which allowed the EAS Alexander and her companion vessels to escape into hyperspace.
