The Meritech Wars was a regional conflict fought between the Imperium of Man and a group of nomadic Secessionists based in the Merates Cluster of worlds located between the Calixis and Ixaniad Sectors of the Segmentum Obscurus in 211-226.M41 The clans of the Merates Cluster seceded from the Imperium, rallying many Renegade factions to their cause, raiding deep into the Calixis Sector and causing widespread disruption and anarchy.
