Pippa Cross is one of the main characters and a former student of the Spence academy. She is described as the prettiest Girl in the academy and was engaged to be married first. Because she did not wanted to marry Bartleby Bumble she ate food of the magic world which caused her to die on earth. After heaven refused to let her pass the river she stayed in the magic world before finally becoming evil. She also was lesbian and was in love with another main character: Felicity Worthington.
