Higheast is a provincial subdivision of Muse, one of the Dunan Republic's five principalities. It is located in the east of the nation and borders the oceans to the east. The region encompasses the entirety of the old Highland Kingdom as integrated into the new Dunan Republic following Highland's defeat and destruction at the end of the Dunan Unification War. The region's name is an amalgamation of "Highland", the previous name for the area, and "East", referring to its position on the eastern coast of the Dunan region.
