Blade alphas are hostile NPCs. The second tier of the Blade monster type. In Japanese language setting, their name is "ブレイドβ" which translates as "blade beta" instead of "blade alpha". In combat, their attack pattern is the same, closing into melee range before attacking and lacking any special skills or magic. They are somewhat resilient for their level and can critical very often, so early-game players are advised not to underestimate them. Their corpse is metallic, so trying to eat it will cause Dim status.
