The GRG121DX features a one-piece maple neck with a rosewood fretboard with sharktooth inlays and two covered humbuckers with a 3-way selector switch. It is a hard-tail model. The GRG121EX (2006–2011) is similar except for the fingerboard inlays. The GRG121SP is a similar model with a cheetah-patterned pickguard and white dot inlays. The GRG120BDX is a similar model with a tremolo bridge.
