The Helicarrier is a fictional flying aircraft carrier specially designed to be capable of independent powered flight in addition to the conventional functions of aircraft carriers. It is the world headquarters and the signature capital ship of the extragovernental intelligence/defense agency S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intelligence Espionage Logistics Division). The Helicarrier has always been a target of the villains to take control of it and use it for world domination with other villainous purposes.
