The Kar-telos system was a star system in the Gamma Quadrant. It had a large asteroid belt. The USS Defiant passed through the system in 2372 and performed maneuvers through the asteroids. (DS9: "Bar Association") This system was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the script, this system's name was pronounced as "KAR TEE-los". [1] According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 74), the primary of this system was a B-class star.
