The Chatterbox sensor component was produced by Galactic Solutions Industries during the the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Developed after GSI acquired several failed HoloNet companies, the Chatterbox boosted a starfighter's effective communications range in order to allow for better tactical coordination.
