Hydroid is a heavy Warframe that wields the power of water. While his abilities do not excel at dealing large amounts of damage, all of his powers have useful crowd control utility that can lock down entire areas of the map from enemy action, restricting their movement and combat abilities. This makes Hydroid incredibly useful for static Defense missions, where his abilities can prevent enemies from reaching the objective. Though not the toughest of Warframes, Hydroid has good shield capacity and armor, making him more durable than other casters, such as Vauban. His second ability is great for catching up with faster teammates and capture targets.
