Lost Horse Road passes through a farm-heavy area. Barns, country-style houses and wheatfields line the roadside. Lost Horse Road contains windy turns and long straight-aways, making it a good road to use for hot pursuits. Eventually, it will lead to the Carson Ridge reservoir at the north, making a junction with South Bay Turnpike and Westbeach Freeway. At the southern end, it forms a junction with Sunset Drive and Grand Ocean Road.
