The unnamed Punter and his friend tried to sell an expensive piece of camera equipment to Rob Donovan when the cash converters Barlow's Buys opened in August 2013. He told Rob that someone in the precinct had offered them £200 when its overall value was £1,000 but Rob wasn't interested, replying that he ought to take the offer from the precinct. After they had gone, business partner Tracy Barlow remonstrated with Rob but he told her that it was obvious that they were stolen goods and they had to be careful with the stock they took on.
