Born on Tattoine shortly after the Clone Wars ended, Kelsi was raised as a slave in Mos Espa. She grew up working in her master's shop which was a repair shop. Working on speeders, droids, and ships of all sizes, she honed and perfected her craft as a mechanic. While she was working on day at the age of twenty, a young man came into the shop and asked about buying Kelsi. Her owner refused, citing that he needed her to run his shop.
