Bandy Borehole(VBBM091) was born in December 2013 in the Baobab. His mother was Amarula, the dominant female, and his father was an unknown rover. His litter-mates were Beans(VBBM092), Bernard(VBBF093), and Bedonde(VBBM094). They were Amarula's first surviving litter. All four pups survived their first weeks and started foraging with the adults. It wasn't very long before Amurula had another litter, but by then Bandy Borehole and his siblings could take care of themselves. At eleven months old, Bandy Borehole took an interest in roving. A month later, he reached adulthood along with his brothers and sister. Most of the older males soon left the group to join new ones.
