Blathar III was a moon. At one time it was visited by the exotics-dealer Rufus Trammel who harvested a number of native the planet's specimens. After his departure from the moon, non-native viruses wiped out most of the moon's planet life. Trammel sold many of his specimens to the government of Blathar III, in a deal that some speculated netted him up to three million credits.
