Boffing is the pretend-battling done by the Society for Medieval Arts and Sciences. This takes place in various places around the school, changing location every week; the location changes often to avoid freaking the mundanes (), but all those genuinely wishing to participate are welcome (weapons can be provided). Currently fight practice is held on the Quad every Monday at 7:30 p.m., and a weekly "newbie fight practice" is held at the same time and place on Thursdays.
