Performer(s) Appeared in Spike is Snoopy's older brother from the newspaper comic strip Peanuts. He lives in a desert outside the city of Needles, California, with his best friend, a cactus. Introduced in the strip in August 1975, he appeared more frequently than the rest of Snoopy's siblings. To date, Spike's only appearance in a Christmas special was in the most recent Peanuts Christmas special, I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown.
