The Yiwa were an Alwari clan that were part of the Qiemo Adrangar tribal faction on the planet Ansion. Their leader in 22 BBY was Highborn Mazong. The Yiwa, though a lesser clan of the Alwari was not an unimportant one. Its members were known for their wariness of strangers, their quickness to take offense, and for always being on the move. They traveled on sadain mounts, which were also used as beasts of burden, and kept domesticated, corralled dorgum and heavy-humped awiquod.
