Smart Matt (かしこいマト Kashikoi Mato) is the intelligent counterpart to Matt himself. Unlike Dark Matt, it is unknown exactly how Smart Tekking exists, but in Matt's reviews, he serves no purpose other than comedic effect. He had his own minor side-series, the "Smart Tekking Cover Story", featuring his escapades after Matt locked him in the Dragon Dungeon. It culminated with Smart Matt being trapped in the woods and encountering Slender Man. While he escaped, he is now presumed dead, due to Death visiting Matt with a numeric warning, and holding up Smart Matt's glasses.
