The Spirit of Mananka is an Evil spirit trapped in a box in the Vale of the Elvin in the Shamutanti Hills. If any traveller is foolish enough to open this box, smoke will begin to rise from it and form "a thin, elf-like face". The Spirit of Mananka can read the minds of those who release it, and will curse them unless they have magical means of protecting themselves.
