LE-LU979 was a female-programmed LE-series repair droid nicknamed Lelu. She was talkative, and the coordinates for the Alliance Intelligence flagship Shadow Raptor were encrypted deep in her memory banks. Lelu was the copilot aboard the transport Spinster's Loom piloted by the smuggler Brahtikka. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the pair piloted a team of operatives to the Shadow Raptor, where they encountered a droid revolt.
