Their first names were never given; they were simply known as Mr. and Mrs. Matthews. Little was revealed about them, except that her father was a fireman. They died in a car crash - Paige was in the same car but survived by unknowingly orbing out (this was before she released she was magical, and she never accidentally used magic again until meeting her sisters in season four of the show).
