Brother Weld was an old male bankvole resident of Redwall Abbey and he was the Beekeeper of the Abbey. He was acting as walltop official in the Wall Race. Brother Weld was also good friends with Brother Gelf. Brother Weld was also in the wallguard while Badredd with his vermin gang besieged Redwall and he helped to defend the Abbey against vermin.
