Chith was a general in the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. In 2 ABY, Chith oversaw Leia Organa's mission to a conclave of rebel sympathizers on Kiamurr. Upon discovering from the arriving Han Solo of an impending Imperial attack, Chith was responsible for devising an evacuation plan from the planet.
