Most fans defend the pairing by saying that both Canada and Romano are overshadowed by their brothers, with Canada being invisible to everyone but America, England and France, despite him being part of the G8 and the 2nd largest country in the world, and Romano always believing that everyone likes his brother, Italy, who is sweeter and in general kinder better then him.
