The First Republic War was a civil war that racked the Republic for a few months of 307 ABY. On one side were those loyal to the Galactic Republic and on the other were the believers of Rescism, who allied themselves with the Sand People of Tatooine. The two forces met in several battles. The war finally ended with the death of the Rescist leader and the restoration of peace.
