Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the Warhammer World. The game was developed by Mythic Entertainment was released on September 18 2008. Like any MMORPG, Warhammer Online could only be played online with other players. The game placed emphasis on Realm v. Realm combat, a dynamic system which had players contesting control over zones called realms. Control was won through a combination of PvE, PvP and RvR invasions. The game had many features in common with Mythic's previous MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot.
