Speed Demon was held and experimented on by Norman Osborn and the Crime Master underneath Oscorp for years, granting him with enhanced speed. He was selected alongside Beetle, Boomerang and Vulture to free Doctor Octopus from the Raft. He and Boomerang helped free Octavious, but Speed Demon failed to dodge a boomerang and was critically injured and put into the Raft med bay. Months later, he was attacked and killed by Electro.
