A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas is a 2011 American stoner film, the third film in the Harold and Kumar series. The film is written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg and directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson. The story continues where Escape From Guantanamo Bay left off with Neil Patrick Harris surviving his gunshot wounds and Kumar happily wed to Vanessa. As well as Harold happily weds to Maria. John Cho and Kal Penn reprise their roles as Harold Lee and Kumar Patel and Daneel Harris and Paula Garces reprise their roles as Vanessa Fanning and Maria.
